9일 오전 서부정류장 앞에서 출근인사로 선거운동을 시작한 조원진 후보는 본리초 네거리에서 저녁유세를 펼쳤다.

이후 달서구병 관내 식당가, 아파트 주변 상가 그리고 전통시장을 다니며 유권자들을 만나 간절하게 지지를 호소했다. 

그는 “반드시 따뜻한 정치, 깨끗한 정치로 달서구민의 어려움을 함께하고 최선을 다해 현안문제를 해결하겠다”며 “선거 후에 국민의힘에 복당해 윤석열 정부의 성공과 3대 개혁을 반드시 성공시키는데 앞장서겠다”고 약속했다. 

또한 “보여주기식의 정치는 결코 하지 않겠다”며 “무슨 일이 있어도 대구의 정신과 대구의 자존심을 지켜서 달서구민께서 부끄럽지 않고, 자랑스러움을 느낄 수 있도록 책임있는 정치를 반드시 하겠다”고 말했다.

그러면서 “조원진을 찍으면 반드시 조원진이 된다”며 “선택해주신다면 든든한 정치로 반드시 보답하겠다”고 말했다.
