첫날 개막식에는 문경시 홍보대사인 박서진과 박군, 주미와 더불어 조명섭, 영기가 출연하여 흥겨운 공연을 통해 축제의 시작을 알리고, 축제 마지막 날 폐막식에는 통일메아리악단과 하랑(구 초코파이브), 윤윤서양이 출연하여 축제를 마무리하는 무대를 가진다.

축제 이튿날인 28일에는 인플루언서(미스 대구‧경북)가 각종 체험과 전시장 투어로 축제장을 누비며 자유롭게 관람객들과 사진을 찍어주는‘위드미포토’행사를 진행해 축제장에 흥겨운 분위기를 더해 줄 계획이다.

작년부터 시작된 생활자기의 대중화 시도에 따라 이번 축제에도 다양한 가격대의 찻사발과 도자기를 요장에서 판매한다. 특히 올해는 기존 찻사발과는 다르게 유리에 가깝게 강하게 구워낸 개성있는 커피사발을 도입하여 축제 기간 중 한정 물량을 판매하고 행사 프로그램에서 경품으로도 제공된다.

축제 대표 전시 콘텐츠로 루마니아와 중국 이싱시의 도예작가와 우리시 무형문화재 작가들의 작품이 전시되는 부스테이너 특별전시관에서는 도자기 장인들의 진수를 느낄 수 있는 혼이 담긴 작품을 감상할 수 있다.
