【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(원장 정순천, 이하 대구행복진흥원) 학교밖청소년지원센터가 ‘2024 대구시 꿈드림 멘토단, 학습코칭단 합동 발대식’을 개최했다고 7일 밝혔다.

지난 2일 학교밖청소년지원센터에서  ‘2024 대구시 꿈드림 멘토단, 학습코칭단 합동 발대식’이 개최됐다.

대구시 꿈드림 멘토단은 학교 밖 청소년 출신을 포함해 심리, 사회복지 등 다양한 전공으로 이루어진 전문가 집단이다. 

올해 위촉된 18명의 멘토들은 학교 밖 청소년들의 청취자, 격려자, 조언자, 안내자로서 청소년들의 사회성 함양을 위해 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

학습 코칭단은 학교 밖 청소년의 수학능력시험 대비 학습 지도상담과 함께 기초학습 지원을 위한 학습 멘토 모임으로 경북대, 대구교대, 영남대 등 지역 대학생 멘토 9명으로 구성됐다.

대구행복진흥원 정순천 원장은 “위촉된 멘토들이 폭넓게 활동할 수 있도록 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu City's Dream Mentor Group is a group of experts made up of various majors, including psychology and social welfare, including out-of-school youth.

The 18 mentors appointed this year will work as listeners, encouragers, advisors, and guides for out-of-school youth to foster their social skills.

The Learning Coaching Group is a group of learning mentors to provide basic learning support along with guidance and counseling for out-of-school youth in preparation for the Scholastic Ability Test. It is comprised of 9 local college student mentors from Kyungpook National University, Daegu National University of Education, and Yeungnam University.

Director Jeong Soon-cheon of Daegu Happiness Promotion Institute said, “We will do our best to support the appointed mentors so that they can engage in a wide range of activities.”
