【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군(군수 김주수)은 28일 김주수 군수와 한국산업기술시험원(KTL) 김세종 원장이 참석한 가운데 드론 및 미래항공 모빌리티 산업 육성을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 양 기관은 의성군의 대(對)드론 및 미래항공 모빌리티 산업 기반 조성과 공동 연구과제 개발을 위한 네트워크 구축 등을 바탕으로 상호 협력할 것을 약속했다.

협약에 따라 양 기관은 △대(對)드론 및 미래항공 모빌리티 산업육성을 위한 공동 연구과제 개발‧운영 △대(對)드론 관련 비공개시험 협력 △대(對)드론 및 미래항공 모빌리티 산업 발전에 관한 협력적 네트워크 구축‧운영 등 관련 산업 활성화를 위해 긴밀한 협조 체계를 구축하기로 했다.

특히 의성군은 대(對)드론 및 미래항공모빌리티 산업 인프라 조성 및 관련 행사 개최를 위한 행‧재정적 지원과 전략 산업 육성을 위한 공유 재산 사용에 협력하며 한국산업기술시험원(KTL)은 관련 국책사업 발굴‧운영과 지역 혁신 생태계 조성을 위한 네트워크 활동 지원을 약속했다.

김주수 의성군수는 “이번 업무협약은 산업기술 시험인증 분야의 국내 유일 공공기관인 한국산업기술시험원(KTL)과 함께 협력 네트워크 구축을 약속하는 뜻깊은 자리”라며 “대(對)드론 및 미래항공 모빌리티 산업 분야를 의성군 미래 신성장 산업의 한 축으로 육성해 나가기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.

한편 의성군은 드론비행시험센터의 ‘국가 안티드론 훈련장’지정에 따른 연계사업 발굴, 안티드론 시험 고정익 활주로와 드론 산업 총괄 지원 시설조성 등 관련 인프라 구축을 위해 다방면으로 노력하고 있으며 이번 업무협약을 기반으로 관련 산업 활성화를 위해 박차를 가할 계획이다.
