메디푸드HMR산업학과 3개 동아리 메디푸드 음료연구회(회장 한인호), 오색오미 HMR(회장 김민정), 푸드&메디스(회장 진영이) 학생 15명은 경산시 소재 중증장애인요양시설인 연화원을 방문했다.

이들은 어르신들의 생일잔치를 위해 축하공연과 함께 마트에서 직접 재료를 구매해 손질하고 조리한 자장면과 탕수육을 제공했다. 

이희수 교수(메디푸드HMR산업학과 학과장)는 “학생들이 봉사 활동을 통해 얻은 경험과 교훈은 평생 동안 가치 있게 남는다”며 “학생들이 대학 생활 동안 봉사 활동에 적극 참여하여 자신의 능력을 발휘하고, 더 나은 사회를 만드는 데 동참해보길 바란다”고 말했다.
