오는 20일 오후 7시 경북교육청문화원에서는 ‘2025~2026 학생, 학부모 대상 의예과 설명회’가 개최된다.

이번 설명회는 ‘2025학년도 의대 입학전형 분석 결과’를 통해 분석된 의대 증원에 대한 전망과 경북교육청의 대응책인 ‘경북형 의료계열 진학 지원 패키지’의 일환으로 변경되는 2025~2026학년도 의대 입학전형에 대한 안내와 지역 의대 입학관계자를 통한 변화된 의대 입학전형에 대한 전망과 대응, 지역 의대 입학관계자와의 상담 진행 등이 실시된다.

2025학년도부터 많이 증가한 의대 지역인재 전형에 대한 학부모와 학생의 높은 관심을 반영해 지역에서 의예과를 선발하는 대학의 입학관계자와 직접 만나볼 수 있는 시간을 가진다.

지역인재전형을 우선해 고려하고 있는 지역 학생과 학부모님들에게 의대 지원 전략 수립에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

 임종식 교육감은 “급격하게 변화하는 의대 입학전형 앞에서 진학의 방향을 잡기 쉽지 않겠지만 경북진학지원센터에서 운영하는 본행사와 이후 행사를 통해 의대 진학에 방향을 잘 설정하여 향후 지역 의료계에 이바지할 수 있는 경북지역 인재가 많이 배출되기를 기대한다”라고 말했다.
