【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 김병삼)은 영진전문대학교와 지난 20일 영진전문대학교 복현캠퍼스에서 업무협력 협약을 체결했다고 21일 밝혔다.

이번 업무협약은 메가시티(대구경북 행정통합) 시대를 대비한 글로벌기업 유치와 맞춤형 인재양성을 통하여 지역 경쟁력 강화를 위한 공동협력체계를 구축하기 위한 것이다.

주요 협약내용은 산학관 협력 지원을 위한 인적 교류 및 정보 교류, 국내 및 외국인 투자유치 활성화를 위한 상호업무협력, 투자유치기업에 대한 인재양성 및 국제 주문식 교육 등이다.

대구경북경제자유구역청은 이번 협약을 통하여 해외 우수 기업들을 대상으로 공동 투자유치 활동을 전개하고, 외국인 투자기업이 경제자유구역 내 입주시 영진전문대학교와 협력을 통해 안정적으로 맞춤형고급 기술 인재를 육성·공급하게 될 것이라고 전했다.

영진전문대학교는 2023년 교육부 대학정보공시를 통해 발표된 취업통계조사에서 전문대학 가운데 전국 1위를 차지하였으며, 최근 6년간평균 취업률이 80%에 달한다고 밝혔으며, 해외 취업률도 전국 1위, 이는 주문식교육 시스템을통한 결과라고 설명했다.

영진전문대학교의 주문식교육은, 산업체로부터 교육 내용과 소요인력을 주문받아 요구에 맞추어 교육을 실시하고, 취업을 도와주는 맞춤식 교육시스템이다. 대학은 실무위주의 교육과정을 개발, 교육함으로써 현장성이 높아지고, 기업은 신입사원 교육비용을 절감하고 조기에 인재를확보하는 효과가 있어 국내외 기업들로부터 많은 관심을 받고 있다.
