지난 8일 대구시교육청 동관 3층 여민실에서 늘봄학교 맞춤형 프로그램의 내실 있는 운영을 위해 마련된 업무협약식이 열렸다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 교육청은 늘봄학교 맞춤형 프로그램 운영을, 센터는 늘봄학교 맞춤형 프로그램 제공과 프로그램 운영을 위한 인력을 지원한다. 

대구시교육청은 늘봄학교 시행에 앞서 지역대학과 정책을 연계한 맞춤형 프로그램 운영 사업을 공모해 지역의 10개 대학을 선정했다.

이 중 문화콘텐츠센터는 대학의 교수와 연구원이 공동 개발한 ‘몸튼 맘튼 미술놀이프로그램’, ‘세계 골목놀이 체험’, ‘가베 수학놀이’, ‘말랑말랑 어린이 AI 로봇 교실’ 등 10개 프로그램이 선정되었다. 

변귀남 센터장은 “학생과 학부모의 수요가 높은 체육, 문화·예술, 사회·정서, 창의·과학, 기후·환경 분야의 질 높은 늘봄학교 프로그램을 지속해 개발함으로써 지역과 대학의 지속가능한 발전에 이바지하고자 한다”고 전했다.
