강 의원이 15일 대표 발의한 항공·철도 안전 3법은 ‘전파법 일부개정안’, ‘공항시설법 일부개정안’, ‘철도안전법 일부개정안’ 등이다.

또한 공항시설법 개정안을 통해 터미널을 비롯한 공항시설 실내에서 드론 등 초경량비행장치를 무단으로 운용할 경우 과태료를 부과하도록 하고 공항운영자가 퇴치 등의 안전 조치를 할 수 있도록 근거를 마련했다.
이와 함께 철도안전법 개정안에는 철도운영자가 철도종사자의 음주 사실을 적발하였을 경우 즉시 수사기관에 신고하도록 하는 의무를 부과하고, 철도종사자의 음주에 대한 처벌 형량을 강화하는 규정을 포함시켰다.
강 의원은 “항공·철도 안전 3법으로 테러·드론·철도공사자 음주 등 위협요소로부터 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하고 항공·철도 등 교통인프라 시설의 안전 확보될 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
