【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시는 지난 17일 임고농협 농산물산지유통센터(APC)에서 인도네시아에 복숭아 수출을 위한 선적을 실시했다고 18일 밝혔다.

올해 첫 수출길에 오른 복숭아는 경봉 품종으로 금주에 300kg(84박스)를 우선 보내고 다음 주에 900kg 상당을 추가 운송한다.

운송된 복숭아는 인도네시아 자카르타 롯데마트, HERO 마켓, RANCH 마켓에 유통돼 현지 소비자들이 달콤하고 아삭한 영천시의 경봉 복숭아를 맛볼 수 있게 된다.

임고농협은 올해 3월 정부 수출단지로 신규 지정을 받은 이후 해외 개척을 위해 지난 4월 인도네시아 자카르타를 방문해 현지 유통시장을 조사하고 수출 확대를 위한 바이어 면담을 진행했다.

영천시는 금번 복숭아 첫 수출을 계기로 신선 포도, 가공식품 등 다양한 농특산물 수출을 확대해 잠재 구매력이 높은 인도네시아 신시장 개척을 위해 적극 노력할 예정이다.

 Yeongcheon City exports peaches to Indonesia for the first time

Yeongcheon City announced on the 18th that on the 17th, the Imgo Agricultural Cooperative Agricultural Produce Distribution Center (APC) conducted a shipment of peaches for export to Indonesia.

The first peach to be exported this year is the Gyeongbong variety, with 300kg (84 boxes) being sent this week and an additional 900kg worth being shipped next week.

The transported peaches will be distributed to Lotte Mart, HERO Market, and RANCH Market in Jakarta, Indonesia, allowing local consumers to taste the sweet and crunchy Gyeongbong peaches of Yeongcheon City.

After receiving a new designation as a government export complex in March of this year, the Imgo Agricultural Cooperative visited Jakarta, Indonesia in April to explore overseas markets, surveyed the local distribution market, and conducted buyer interviews to expand exports.

Using this first export of peaches as an opportunity, Yeongcheon City plans to expand exports of various agricultural specialties such as fresh grapes and processed foods, and actively strive to develop a new market in Indonesia with high purchasing power.
