2분기 영업손실은 제 품 판매 둔화와 리튬 등 재료비 증가로 지난 1분기 마이너스 298억 원과 비교해 약 248억 원 늘어난 마이너스 546억 원으로 집계됐다.

양극재를 생산하는 핵심 가족사인 에코프로비엠은 1분기에 이어 흑 자 기조를 이어갔다. 에코프로비엠은 2분기 매출 8095억 원, 영업이익 39억 원을 실현했다.

매출액의 경우 전기 대비 17% 줄었지만, 영업이 익은 재고평가충당금 환입 등으로 흑자 기조를 유지했다. 전구체를 생산하는 에코프로머티리얼즈의 2분기 매출은 667억 원, 영업손실은 37억 원으로 집계됐다.
