【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구대학교(총장 박순진)가 '대학혁신지원사업 Ⅰ유형(일반재정지원)’ 성과 평가에서 A등급을 획득했다고 12일 밝혔다.

대학혁신지원사업은 대학 기본역량 강화 및 전략적 특성화를 지원해 미래형 창의 인재 양성 체제를 구축하기 위한 교육부의 재정지원사업이다.

대구대는 대학혁신지원사업 2주기 2차년도(2023)의 교육혁신 성과와 자체 성과관리 영역에 대한 성과 평가에서 모두 A등급을 획득했다. 

기존 포뮬러 평가에 따른 사업비 36억6700만원, 기회균형포뮬러 3억4100만원, 인센티브 39억9600만원 등 총 80억 원의 사업비를 확보한 대구대는 다양한 프로그램을 운영한다.

구체적으로는 ▶미래수요 기반 학사구조 혁신 및 학과역량강화 ▶유연한 학사 운영을 통한 학생전공 선택권 강화 ▶혁신적 수업방법 확대 ▶기초소양교육 강화 및 체계화 ▶학생맞춤 전공‧진로 탐색 체계 구축 ▶데이터 기반 교육 질관리 체계 고도화 사업 등이다.

대구대는 자유전공학부 및 9개 단과대학 통합선발 등 적극적이고 도전적인 학사구조 개편과 지원 체계를 구축하고, 대구대형 기초교육 체계 마련 및 학생성장 도모 기초 소양 교육 및 교양 교육과정을 개발·운영해 좋은 평가를 받았다.

박순진 총장은 “대구대는 지난 2019년부터 진행된 대학혁신지원사업에서 대학 자체적으로 올해 최대 규모의 사업비를 확보하는 등 교육혁신 성과를 인정받고 있다”면서 “앞으로도 학생들이 다양한 경험과 성취를 통해 자신의 꿈을 이뤄갈 수 있는 학생 중심의 교육 체제를 구축하는 데 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
