【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(원장 배기철·이하 대구행복진흥원) 청소년활동진흥센터가 포상제 탐험활동을 운영했다고 14일 밝혔다.
청소년포상제는 청소년들이 봉사, 자기개발, 신체단련, 탐험활동 영역에 스스로의 성취목표를 정하고, 지속적으로 실행해 나가도록 청소년지도자의 코칭이 더해진 자기도전형 성장 프로그램이다.
대구행복진흥원 청소년활동진흥센터는 청소년포상제의 대구포상운영사무국으로 동구청소년문화의집 아름드리, 서구청소년수련관, 달성군청소년센터, 달서구청소년수련관, 수성구청소년수련관, 범어다함께돌봄센터 소속 청소년 60여 명과 연합 탐험활동을 1박 2일형, 2박 3일형으로 운영했다.
1박 2일형은 진밭골 트레킹, 감태봉 트레킹, 숲밧줄놀이, 야외물놀이 등으로 구성됐으며 2박 3일형은 팔공산국립공원 동부사무소와 함께 캠핑 스쿨, 갓바위 자생식물원 탐사 및 관봉 트레킹, 수태골 생태 트레킹 등의 활동을 실시했다.
활동에 참가한 배진아 학생은 “청소년지도자 선생님과 함께 사전교육과 예비 탐험을 하면서 텐트 치기 연습을 많이 한 게 도움이 됐다”며 “트레킹을 할 때마다 힘들긴 했지만 뿌듯한 경험이었다”고 전했다.
대구행복진흥원 배기철 원장은 “청소년포상제는 청소년들이 스스로 도전하고 목표를 성취하는 경험을 통해 성장을 이룰 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램이다”며 “참가 청소년들이 자연 속에서 자신을 발견하고, 앞으로의 삶에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 형성하는데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

The 1-night, 2-day program consisted of Jinbatgol trekking, Gamtaebong trekking, forest rope play, and outdoor water play, while the 2-night, 3-day program included activities such as camping school, exploration of Gatbawi Native Plant Garden, Gwanbong trekking, and Sutaegol Ecological Trekking in cooperation with the Palgongsan National Park Eastern Office.
Bae Jin-ah, a student who participated in the activity, said, “It was helpful to have a lot of practice in setting up tents while doing pre-education and preliminary exploration with the youth leader,” and “It was difficult every time we went trekking, but it was a rewarding experience.”
Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency Director Bae Ki-cheol said, “The Youth Award System is a program that helps youth grow through experiences of challenging themselves and achieving their goals,” and “I hope that the participating youth will discover themselves in nature and contribute to forming a positive attitude toward their future lives.”
