【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시(시장 최기문)는 12일 민족의 고유 명절인 추석을 맞아 전통시장 소비 촉진 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 전통시장 장보기 행사를 실시했다.

시에 따르면 이번 행사에는 영천공설시장 상인회, NH농협영천시지부, iM뱅크 영천영업부 직원 등 40여 명이 참여했으며, 온누리상품권을 이용해 지역 농수산물과 제수용품을 구입하고 상인들과 명절 인사를 나누며 전통시장 활성화에 동참했다.

한편, 중소벤처기업부는 지난 9월 2일부터 ‘경제활력 캠페인’의 일환으로 온누리상품권의 월별 개인 할인구매 한도를 지류형 기준 150만원에서 200만원으로 상향했다. 할인율 역시 지류형은 기존 5%에서 10%로, 카드형 및 모바일은 기존 10%에서 15%로 상향 조정했다.

아울러, 영천시는 지난 7월 2일부터 예산 소진 시까지 전통시장에서 영천사랑카드 이용 시 5% 추가 할인 혜택을 준다.

최기문 영천시장은 장을 보러 온 시민들과 함께 전통시장 상품을 구매하고 상인들과 만나 시장 활성화를 위한 다양한 의견을 청취하면서 “앞으로도 지역 경제 활성화와 물가 안정 등에 도움이 되는 실효성 있는 방안을 끊임없이 고민해 마련하겠다”면서 “고물가 속 품질 좋은 우리 농수산물을 저렴하게 구입할 수 있는 지역의 전통시장을 많이 이용해 주기를 바란다”고 말했다.

The discount rate was also increased from 5% to 10% for the paper type, and from 10% to 15% for the card type and mobile.

In addition, Yeongcheon City will provide an additional 5% discount when using the Yeongcheon Love Card at traditional markets from July 2 until the budget runs out.

Mayor Choi Ki-moon of Yeongcheon City said, “We will continue to think about and come up with effective measures that will help revitalize the local economy and stabilize prices,” while purchasing traditional market products with citizens who come to the market and meeting with merchants to hear various opinions on how to revitalize the market.
