【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시의회 의원연구단체인 ‘희망정책 연구 포럼’(대표 손한국 의원)이 사회적 고립 청년 발굴 및 지원 방안을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다.

지난 2일 오후 3시 시의회 3층 손한국 의원실에서 ‘사회적 고립 청년 발굴 및 지원 방안 연구’ 착수보고회가 개최됐다.

지난 8월 결성된 ‘희망정책 연구 포럼’은 9명의 시의원(대표 손한국, 간사 권기훈, 박소영, 박우근, 박창석, 윤영애, 이동욱, 이영애, 허시영 의원)이 소속돼있다.

이날 의원들은 연구 수행기관으로부터 연구 목적 및 방향, 수행 방법, 추후 일정 등의 설명을 듣고 논의를 이어갔다.

연구를 제안한 손한국 의원은 “지역에 제한적인 관계만 맺고 지내며 사회 참여에 어려움을 느끼는 청년들이 많이 있다”며 “더욱 심각한 문제는 사회적 고립 청년들의 수가 매년 증가하고 있다는 점”이라고 강조했다. 

손 의원은 “이번 연구를 통해 위기의 사회적 고립 청년들이 지역사회로 나와 함께 서기를 할 수 있도록 대구시 맞춤형 지원방안이 제시되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.

On this day, the council members listened to explanations about the research purpose and direction, implementation method, and future schedule from the research institution and continued their discussion.

Rep. Son Han-guk, who proposed the research, emphasized, “There are many young people who have limited relationships in their local area and have difficulty participating in society,” and “An even more serious problem is that the number of socially isolated youth is increasing every year.”

Rep. Son said, “I hope that this research will provide customized support measures for Daegu City so that socially isolated youth in crisis can come out to the community and stand together.”
