【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(이사장 배기철)이 대구여성정책포럼 ‘잇다’를 개최했다고 30일 밝혔다.
지난 29일 대구행복진흥원 1층 교육장에서 대구시가 주최하고 대구행복진흥원과 한국정부학회가 공동주관한 대구여성정책포럼 ‘잇다’가 ‘저출산과 청년 문제에 대한 정책적 접근’을 주제로 개최됐다.
정책과 현장이 소통하는 행사에는 대구지역 여성관련 단체·기관 관계자 및 학계 등 각계 전문가와 관심 있는 대구 시민 100여명이 참석했다.
포럼의 좌장은 단국대학교 성시경 교수가 맡았고 경북대학교 김선영 교수가 ‘한국사회 저출산 문제와 대구의 출산결혼이슈: 빅데이터분석을 통한 사회환경 이해’를, 행복진흥원 황동진 부연구위원이 ‘사회적고립청년을 위한 돌봄정책 방안’ 에 대해 발표했다.
대구행복진흥원 배기철 이사장은 “한국사회의 저출산 문제는 청년 문제와 사회 환경 문제 등 여러 요소가 함께 검토돼야 한다”며 “이번 포럼을 통해 전국적인 저출생 현상을 극복하기 위한 대구지역 대응 방안을 모색하는 계기가 되기를 희망한다”고 말했다.

Professor Seong Si-kyung of Dankook University served as the moderator of the forum, and Professor Kim Seon-yeong of Kyungpook National University presented ‘Korean Society’s Low Birth Rate Problem and Daegu’s Birth and Marriage Issues: Understanding the Social Environment through Big Data Analysis’, while Vice Researcher Hwang Dong-jin of the Happiness Promotion Center presented ‘Care Policy Measures for Socially Isolated Youth’.
Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency Director Bae Ki-cheol said, “The problem of low birth rates in Korean society must be examined by examining various factors, including youth issues and social environment issues,” and added, “I hope that this forum will be an opportunity to find ways to address the Daegu region in order to overcome the nationwide low birth rate phenomenon.”
