【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시(시장 최기문)는 25일 2025년 FTA기금 과수고품질시설현대화사업(이하 FTA기금사업)을 12월 13일까지 지역농협과 능금농협을 통해 신청·접수받는다고 밝혔다.
시에 따르면 신청 대상은 2012년 3월 15일 이전에 조성된 포도, 복숭아, 사과, 자두, 배, 살구 등 6개 품목 과원으로 참여농협에 출하실적이 있는 농가이다. 다만, 재해예방시설의 경우 신규과원도 신청이 가능하며 미출하농가도 올해까지 신청이 가능하다.
농업경영체 미등록, 농업 이외 종합소득금액이 3,700만원 이상인 경영체, 3년 이내 중도 포기 경력이 있는 경우, 5년 이내 동일한 필지에 동일한 사업을 신청하는 경우, 미리 시설을 설치한 경우는 지원에서 제외된다.
FTA기금사업에서 지원하는 사항은 △관수관비시설 △지주시설 △관정 △배수시설 △서리피해방지시설 △야생동물방지시설 △비가림하우스 등이 있으며 올해부터 사업 품목에 살구가 추가돼 보다 많은 농가에 혜택이 돌아갈 것으로 예상된다.
최기문 영천시장은 “현 농업 실정을 반영해 많은 농업인에게 실질적이고 충분한 혜택이 돌아갈 수 있도록 노력하겠다”며 “홍보를 철저히 해 올해 새롭게 품목 추가된 살구 재배 농가들이 신청 누락되는 일이 없도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
