이번 회의엔 제5기(2023~2026) 지역사회보장계획의 내년 연차별 시행계획안이 심의됐으며, 올해 지역사회보장협의체 운영 실적 보고 및 활동 보고회 개최 안내 등의 내용도 함께 공유됐다.

이에 협의체는 제5기 지역사회보장계획을 바탕으로 ‘함께 일구어 가는 살기 좋은 영덕’이라는 슬로건 아래 지자체 사회보장사업 전략에 22개의 세부 사업, 지역사회보장 발전 전략에 17개의 세부 과업의 수립안을 의결했다.

이희원 공동위원장은 “영덕군의 사회보장 사업이 체계적이고 실효성 있게 추진될 수 있도록 구체적인 실행계획을 마련하는 중요한 기회였다”며 이번 회의를 평했다.

이어 김광열 공동위원장은 “지역사회보장계획이 실효성 있게 추진돼 군민의 삶을 향상하고 지속 가능한 복지공동체가 실현될 수 있도록 공공과 민간이 힘을 합쳐 적극적으로 협력해 나가자”라고 독려했다.
