【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시는 지난 2일 시청 대회의실에서 실과소·읍면동 직원 300명이 참석한 가운데‘2024년 신성장동력 TF팀 추진전략 성과보고회’를 개최했다고 3일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이번 보고회는 1년간의 주요 성과를 공유하고 28개 과제별 추진 내용을 점검하며, 문경시의 지속 가능한 발전 전략을 구체화하는 자리로 마련됐다.

보고회는 주요 성과를 한눈에 확인할 수 있는 3분 영상 상영을 시작으로, TF팀의 28개 과제별 발표를 통해 각 과제의 추진 현황과 성과를 심도 있게 논의했다.

신현국 문경시장은“이번 성과보고회를 통해 한 해 동안 추진한 정책의 성과를 점검하고 향후 과제를 보완하여 문경의 경쟁력을 강화하겠다”며, “TF과제 하나하나가 문경시의 미래 성장을 이끌 중요한 밑거름이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

한편 신성장 동력 TF팀 보고회는 2022년 9월 정책기획단이 신설된 이후 매월 2회 개최하고 있으며, 주흘산 케이블카 조성사업 및 주흘산 하늘길 조성, 문경새재 관광지 개발사업 등 중점 10대 과제 및 핵심과제를 재점검하며 문경을 기회의 도시 문경으로 재도약하기 위해 전방위적으로 추진 중이다.

특히 문경타워 전망대 건립, 문경새재 야간 경관조명 조성 등 새재 권역을 중심으로 새로운 관광 콘텐츠를 마련하여 지역 소비를 촉진하는‘체류형 관광산업’을 완성하고, 국군체육부대의 인프라와 다양한 국제대회 개최 경험을 바탕으로 2031년 세계군인체육대회를 다시 한번 유치해 명실상부한 글로벌 스포츠·체육 도시로 도약하고자 한다.

또한 국내외 선진지 견학을 통해 탁상행정에서 벗어나 현장에서 답을 찾는 행정으로 문경시 맞춤형 핵심과제 발굴에 큰 역할을 하고 있다.

According to the city, this report meeting was designed to share major achievements over the past year, review the progress of 28 tasks, and concretize Mungyeong City's sustainable development strategy.

The report meeting began with a 3-minute video showing major achievements at a glance, and discussed the progress status and performance of each task in depth through the TF team's presentation of each of the 28 tasks.

Mayor Shin Hyun-guk of Mungyeong City said, "Through this performance report meeting, we will review the performance of policies promoted over the past year and supplement future tasks to strengthen Mungyeong's competitiveness," and added, "Each TF task will serve as an important foundation for leading the future growth of Mungyeong City."

Meanwhile, the New Growth Engine TF Team Report Meeting has been held twice a month since the Policy Planning Group was established in September 2022, and is being comprehensively promoted to re-examine 10 key tasks and core tasks such as the Juheulsan Cable Car Construction Project, Juheulsan Sky Road Construction, and Mungyeong Saejae Tourism Development Project, and to make a leap forward for Mungyeong as a city of opportunity.

In particular, by creating new tourism content centered around the Saejae area, such as the construction of the Mungyeong Tower Observatory and the creation of the Mungyeong Saejae Night Landscape Lighting, we will complete the ‘stay-type tourism industry’ that promotes local consumption, and based on the infrastructure of the Armed Forces Athletics Corps and the experience of hosting various international competitions, we will once again host the 2031 Military World Games to leap forward as a true global sports and athletics city.

In addition, through field trips to advanced domestic and international regions, we are playing a major role in discovering key tasks tailored to Mungyeong City by moving away from desk-bound administration and finding answers on the ground.
