13일 포스코에 따르면 대기업이 중소기업에 CP도입을 지원해 우수등급을 획득한 사례는 처음이다. 또한 포스코그룹도 CP등급평가에 9개 그룹사가 참여해 모두 우수한 등급을 획득했다.

포스코 협력 중소기업인 삼우에코, 신일인텍, 에어릭스, 중앙이엠씨 등 4개 회사는 올해 공정거래위원회 CP등급 평가에 처음 참가해 AA(우수) 등급을 획득했다. 이는 포스코가 지난 2021년부터 협력기업에 대한 자체 공정거래CP인증제를 실시하면서 CP도입과 활성화를 적극 지원한 결과로 국내 최초로 대기업과 협력 중소기업 간 CP 협업활동을 통한 공정거래 문화확산의 모범사례다.

이와 함께 포스코그룹은 올해 공정거래위원회 CP등급 평가에 9개사가 참여해 포스코이앤씨 AAA(최우수), 포스코홀딩스, 포스코, 포스코퓨처엠, 포스코플로우, 포스코A&C 등 5개사는 AA(우수)등급을 받았다. 또한 포스코DX, 포스코모빌리티솔루션, 포스코MC머티리얼즈 등 3개사는 A(비교적 우수) 등급을 획득했다.

포스코이앤씨는 국내 건설업계 최초로 2년 연속 AAA(최우수) 등급을 받았다. 포스코이앤씨는 분쟁 발생을 미연에 방지하기 위해 하도급법에서 정한 모든 문서를 온라인으로 발급하도록 의무화하고, 건설 현장별 특성을 반영한 준법코칭을 확대 실시하는 등 실질적인 공정거래 문화 정착을 위해 힘쓰고 있는 점을 인정받았다.

포스코그룹의 이번 성과는 신뢰받는 ESG경영체제 구축을 위해 준법문화를 확산하고, 비즈니스 파트너인 협력기업과의 신뢰에 기반한 상생을 실천한다는 그룹의 경영이념 실천의 결과다.

포스코그룹은 2002년 포스코의 공정거래 CP 도입을 시작으로 올해까지 37개 그룹사가 CP를 도입하는 등 그룹 공정거래 문화 확립을 위한 내실을 다져왔으며, 포스코홀딩스 등 10개 그룹사의 CP 전문가로 구성된‘그룹 CP 활성화지원 TF’를 통해 그룹사 뿐만 아니라 협력기업과 중견기업을 대상으로 CP 교육, 코칭 등 맞춤형 준법 지원 활동 등을 통해 산업계의 공정거래 문화확산을 위해 노력하고 있다.

 POSCO Group Supports Small and Medium Enterprises to Introduce ‘Fair Trade Compliance Program’ and Results

Four cooperative SMEs that POSCO Group supported to introduce the Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) received excellent grades in the CP rating evaluation conducted by the Fair Trade Commission.

This is the first time that a large company has supported the introduction of CP to small and medium enterprises and received excellent grades. In addition, nine POSCO Group affiliates participated in the CP rating evaluation and all received excellent grades.

Four POSCO cooperative SMEs, Samwoo Eco, Shinil Intec, Airix, and Joongang EMC, participated in the Fair Trade Commission’s CP rating evaluation for the first time this year and received an AA (Excellent) grade. This is the result of POSCO’s active support for the introduction and activation of CP since implementing its own fair trade CP certification system for cooperative companies in 2021, and is the first exemplary case of fair trade culture diffusion through CP collaboration activities between large companies and cooperative SMEs in Korea.

In addition, nine companies from the POSCO Group participated in the Fair Trade Commission’s CP rating evaluation this year, and five companies, including POSCO E&C AAA (excellent), POSCO Holdings, POSCO, POSCO Future M, POSCO Flow, and POSCO A&C, received an AA (excellent) rating. POSCO E&C was the first in the domestic construction industry to receive an AAA (excellent) rating for two consecutive years. POSCO E&C was recognized for its efforts to establish a practical fair trade culture, such as mandating that all documents stipulated in the Subcontracting Act be issued online to prevent disputes in advance and expanding compliance coaching that reflects the characteristics of each construction site.

This achievement by POSCO Group is the result of the group’s management philosophy of spreading a culture of compliance to establish a trustworthy ESG management system and practicing mutual growth based on trust with business partners and cooperative companies.

Starting with the introduction of POSCO’s fair trade CP in 2002, POSCO Group has solidified its position as a group company by introducing CP to 37 group companies as of this year, and is working to spread a fair trade culture in the industry through customized compliance support activities such as CP education and coaching for not only group companies but also cooperative companies and mid-sized companies through the ‘Group CP Activation Support TF’ consisting of CP experts from 10 group companies including POSCO Holdings.
