【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구가톨릭대가 HD현대로보틱스(대표이사 김완수)와 대구·경북 로봇조작 교육센터 설치 및 모빌리티혁신대학 협력을 위해 손을 맞잡았다.

지난 17일 교내 코이노니아홀에서 진행된 이번 협약 체결은 로봇 및 스마트제조 분야의 전문 인재를 양성하고 실무교육 기반을 마련하기 위해 마련됐다.

이에 따라 대구가톨릭대는 이론 강의실 및 실습실 구축을 위한 장소를 제공하고 HD현대로보틱스는 산업용 로봇을 무상 대여하고 전문 강사진과 센터 운영을 지원한다.

로봇조작 교육센터는 스마트팩토리의 핵심인 로봇 조작 교육을 제공하며, 학부생과 졸업생, 재직자에게 실무 중심의 첨단 기술 교육을 제공할 예정이다.

HD현대로보틱스는 현장 맞춤형 실무교육을 위한 인프라 제공과 교육 프로그램 개발에 적극 협력할 예정이다. 또한 대학들과 함께 지역 산업 발전을 위한 유기적 협력 체계를 구축하여 미래 모빌리티 분야에서의 혁신과 성장을 도모한다.

대구가톨릭대 RISE모빌리티디저털전환사업단장 윤현중 교수는 “이번 협력은 대학과 기업이 함께 미래를 준비하는 모범적인 사례”라며 “이번 협약이 지역산업의 핵심 인재 양성과 기술 전환을 촉진하는 계기가 될 것”이라고 전했다.

Daegu Catholic University and HD Hyundai Robotics (CEO Wan-soo Kim) have joined hands to establish a Daegu-Gyeongbuk Robot Operation Education Center and to cooperate with the Mobility Innovation University.

HD Hyundai Robotics will actively cooperate in providing infrastructure for customized practical education and developing education programs. In addition, it will establish an organic cooperation system with universities for regional industrial development to promote innovation and growth in the future mobility field.

Professor Hyun-Joong Yoon, head of the RISE Mobility Digital Transformation Business Unit at Daegu Catholic University, said, “This collaboration is an exemplary case of universities and companies preparing for the future together,” and added, “This agreement will serve as an opportunity to foster key talents and promote technological transformation in the local industry.”
