청년성장프로젝트는 미취업 청년들의 구직 단념을 방지하고, 취업 시 초기 적응을 지원하여 청년들이 사회에 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 돕는 사업으로 청년카페, 직장 적응 2개 분야에서 청년들의 취업 역량 강화와 사회참여를 적극 지원해왔다.

특히, 공모 신청부터 컨소시엄을 맺고 운영까지 맡은 경북시민재단의체계적인 프로그램 설계와 네트워크를 바탕으로 청년카페는 역량과 진로탐색, 창업교육, 번아웃 회복 등의 교육을 제공하여 총 10회에청년200명이 참여했고, 이와 더불어 총 200회의 개별 심리상담도이루어졌다.

또한, 직장 적응 사업은 청년들의 직장 내에서 안정적인 적응을 돕기 위해조직문화 개선 교육, 온보딩 프로그램을 운영했으며 총 10회 교육에 158명이 참가하여 교육을 수료했다.

김하수 청도군수는 “이번 성과는 미래의 주역인 청년들의 안정적인 직장생활을 지원하여 지역에의 정착유도를 위해 추진한 노력의 결과라고 생각한다. 앞으로도 청년들이 지역에서 마음껏 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 통해 청도가 청년들의 꿈이 이루어지는 희망의 도시로 발돋움할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
