【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시는 지난 7일 KOICA의 농업생산성, 농업공학 분야 석사학위 과정의 외국인 대학원생 30명이 문경시를 방문해 문경시만의 차별화된 농업 정책 사례와 스마트APC, 식물공장을 견학했다고 8일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이번 방문은 경북대학교 국제개발협력센터가 주관한 연수 프로그램의 일환으로, 18개국에서 온 30명의 석사과정 대학원생들이 참여했다. 연수단은 문경시청 대회의실에서 문경시가 추진하는 차별화된 농업 정책을 청취하고, 활발한 토론시간을 가졌다.

이어 LED 조명을 활용한 식물공장 ‘애니팜’과 최신 선별장비 및 로봇팔레타이저가 도입된 ‘문경거점산지유통센터’를 견학하며 문경의 선진 농업 기술을 체험했다. 연수단은 문경 관광의 대표 상품인 문경 철로 레일바이크를 탑승하며 일정을 마무리했다.

연수생들은 문경의 뛰어난 농업 시설과 정책에 깊은 감명을 받아 엄지손가락을 치켜세우며 만족감을 표했다.

한국국제협력단(KOICA)은 개발도상국의 빈곤해결과 인권향상, 인도주의 실현, 경제협력을 통한 국제사회의 평화와 번영을 목적으로 지난 1991년 설립된 외교부의 산하 기관이다.

Mungyeong City announced on the 8th that 30 foreign graduate students in the KOICA master's degree program in agricultural productivity and agricultural engineering visited Mungyeong City on the 7th and toured Mungyeong City's unique agricultural policy cases, smart APC, and plant factories.
