이번 점검은 영주적십자병원 병동 증축건립공사 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 미연에 방지하고자 진행했으며, 현장 건설근로자들과의 소통을 통해 그 간의 고충을 청취하고 앞으로도 안전사고 예방을 위해 적극 힘써줄 것을 당부했다.

현재 공사는 안전중심의 경영 원칙을 실현하기 위해, 주기적으로 매분기마다 건설공사 현장을 방문하고 있다. 또한, 경영진이 건설현장을 직접 방문하여 안전을점검하고 개선책을 조치하는 등 경영 제일(第一) 원칙인 ‘안전’을 실현하기 위해 솔선수범 중이다.
