【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도가 지난해 12월 1일부터 올해 1월 31일까지 총 62일간 진행한 희망2025나눔캠페인이 역대 이웃돕기 캠페인 시작 이후 최초로 200억원을 돌파해, 총 213억원의 성금 모금으로 사랑의 온도 121도를 기록하는 역대 최대 성과를 달성했다.

이번 성과는 어려운 경제 상황 속에서도 경북 도민의 적극적인 기부 참여로 이루어진 결과로 경북의 나눔 정신이 다시 한번 빛을 발휘했다는데 의미가 남다르다.

특히 경북은 다른 지역과 달리 개인 기부가 전체 모금액의 절반 이상을 차지하며 ‘나눔의 고장’으로서의 명성을 입증했다.

3일 경북도청 앞 광장에서 이철우 경상북도지사, 전우헌 경북사회복지공동모금회장 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 ‘희망2025나눔캠페인 폐막식’을 개최하며, 성금 모금 캠페인의 성공적인 마무리를 기념했다.

전우헌 경북사회복지공동모금회 회장은 “나눔문화 확산에 함께 해준 도민 여러분께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드린다”며 “모아주신 성금을 통해 경북의 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 희망을 전달할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.

이철우 경상북도지사는 “사랑의 온도 100도 조기 달성과 더불어 최초로 200억 원을 돌파한 것은 모두 경북 도민 덕분이다”며, “성금이 어려운 이웃들에게 실질적인 도움이 되고, 따뜻한 위로와 힘이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편, 이번 캠페인에서 모인 성금은 경북 내 취약계층과 복지 사각지대에 생계비 지원, 의료비 지원, 복지시설 개선 등 다양한 분야에 활용될 예정이며, 이를 통해 지역 내 나눔의 선순환을 더욱 강화하고 도민이 체감할 수 있는 복지 혜택을 지원할 계획이다.
