3일 군에 따르면 농기계임대사업소는 조직개편 전 한 개의 팀에서 농기계임대·배송사업, 농·산업기계교육, 소형 건설기계 조종면허 교육, 드론교육장 운영, 국가기술자격시험장 운영 등 업무량 과다로 질 좋은 서비스 제공이 어려웠지만, 사업소 신설로 2개 팀(임대사업팀, 영농지원팀)에 업무가 분산됨에 따라 체계적이고 보다 나은 서비스를 제공한다.

울진군은 한울본부 임대료 50%지원과 농림식품부 25%감면을 통한전국 최대 75%의 임대료를 확대 지원하여, 농업인들이 농기계 임대에드는 비용을 크게 절감하도록 하였다. 이로써 중소규모 농가를 비롯한모든농업인들이 최신 농기계를 저렴한 비용으로 이용할 수 있게 되어,노동력절감과 농업 생산성 향상으로 경쟁력 강화를 기대할 수 있다.
