【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교는 반려동물보건학과가 반려동물미용 세미나를 성료했다고 6일 밝혔다.

세미나에는 반려동물미용사로 재직하고 있는 전문가 60명이 참석했다.

특강은 반려 동물 미용분야에서 유명한 김자연 원장이 맡았다. 그는 이론을 설명하고 실습을 선보였다.

이와  함께 강아지 CRP, 강아지 아로마 향낭, 수의사교수와 함께하는 강아지 건강검진 등 다양한 체험행사가 진행됐다.

반려동물보건학과 이재연 학과장은 “특강을 통해서 향후 반려동물 미용의 전문성을 확보하는데 많은 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

한편 대구한의대는 2025년 반려동물산업학과를 신설해 동물미용, 동물훈련 및 교감, 동물복지, 동물 영양 및 펫푸드에 대한 전문 인재를 양성할 방침이다.
