【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군은 영덕경찰서와 합동으로 유해야생동물로 인한 농작물 피해를 최소화하고 주민들의 안전을 확보하기 위해 지난 5일 영덕환경자원관리센터에서 ‘2025 유해야생동물 피해방지단 업무 연찬회 및 안전교육’을 실시했다고 7일 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 피해방지단 16명을 대상으로 총기 사용 안전 수칙, 유해야생동물 포획 안전 수칙, ASF예방을 위한 방역 방법, 포획 증빙자료 작성법 등 총기사고 방지와 안전사고 예방을 위한 교육이 이뤄졌다.

김명희 영덕군 환경위생과장은 “피해방지단 여러분의 적극적인 활동과 충실한 안전교육을 통해 유해야생동물로 인한 농작물 피해를 방지하고 아프리카돼지열병 유입을 차단할 수 있도록 함께 힘을 모아 나가길 바란다”고 전했다.
