【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)은 ‘2025년 두뇌기반 학습코칭단’(이하 코칭단)을통해학습에 어려움을 겪고 있는 학생들에게 찾아가는 맞춤형 지원을 강화하기로 했다.

7일 대구시교육청에 따르면‘두뇌기반 학생 맞춤형 지원’은 학생의 학습력 향상을 위해 두뇌에 대한 이해를 기반으로 학생 행동 특성을 진단하고 분석해 인지, 정서, 동기 등 3가지 영역별 맞춤형 교육을 지원하는 것을 말한다.

대구시교육청은 학생 맞춤형 교육에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있는 교육적 현실을반영해, 지난해 12월부터 약 2개월 간 2차례에 걸친 선발 과정을 통해 총 137명의코칭단을 선발하고, ‘학습코칭 조기 지원 시스템’을 구축했다.

이들 코칭단은 오는 4월부터 학교로 직접 찾아가 학습지원대상학생과 경계선지능(느린학습자) 학생 등 특수요인을 지닌 학생들을 대상으로 개인별 두뇌 특성에맞는맞춤형학습코칭을 지원하게 된다.

이에 앞서, 대구시교육청은 코칭단의 역량 강화를 위해 2월 7일(금) 오전 9시 30분부터 대구미래교육연구원 시청각실에서 오리엔테이션을 겸한 연수를 실시한다.

연수에서는 2025학년도 두뇌기반 학습코칭단 운영에 대해 안내하고, 대진초 성영미 교사가‘발달적 관점에서 접근하는 아이의 삶을 바꾸는 문해력 지도 방안’을 주제로 특강을 진행한다.

강은희 교육감은 “여러가지 요인으로 학습에 어려움을 겪는 우리 학생들이 학교 적응력을 키우고 기초 학력을 높일 수 있도록 필요한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.”라고 말했다.

Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eun-hee) decided to strengthen customized support for students who are having difficulties in learning through the ‘2025 Brain-Based Learning Coaching Group’ (hereinafter referred to as the Coaching Group).

Reflecting the educational reality of increasing demand for customized education for students, Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education selected a total of 137 coaching groups through a two-stage selection process over a period of about two months starting in December of last year and established an ‘Early Support System for Learning Coaching.’

Starting in April, these coaching groups will visit schools directly to provide customized learning coaching tailored to the brain characteristics of students with special factors such as students who need learning support and students with borderline intelligence (slow learners).

Prior to this, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will hold an orientation and training session at the Daegu Future Education Research Institute Audiovisual Room on Friday, February 7th at 9:30 AM to strengthen the capacity of the coaching group.

During the training session, information will be provided on the operation of the 2025 brain-based learning coaching group, and Daejin Elementary School teacher Seong Yeong-mi will give a special lecture on the topic of ‘Literacy guidance methods that change children’s lives from a developmental perspective.’

Superintendent Kang Eun-hee said, “We will spare no support to help our students who have difficulty learning due to various factors improve their school adaptability and basic academic skills.”
