【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 김승수(대구 북구을) 국회의원이 ‘AI 3대강국 도약 특별위원회 콘텐츠 분야 소위원회 간담회’를 개최했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이날 국회의원회관 제4간담회실에서 열린 간담회는 최장혁 개인정보보호위원회 부위원장, 이진규 네이버 개인정보보호책임자(DPO), 이영탁 SK텔레콤 성장지원실장 등이 참석한 가운데 비공개로 진행됐다.
참석자들은 지난 1월 22일 콘텐츠 분야에 대한 각 부처별 상세 업무보고에 이어 이번에는 인공지능(AI) 관련 개인정보 보호법 개정 추진에 대해 논의했다.
김 의원은 “AI 발전을 위한 학습용 데이터 수요는 증가하고 있으나 제약이 많아 원본 데이터 활용에 한계가 있다”며 “적법하게 수집한 개인정보에 한해 공공의 이익이나 사회적 이익에 부합하는 경우 등 일정 요건을 충족하면 개인정보를 포함한 데이터를 활용할 수 있도록 해야 한다”고 말했다.
