지난 11일 개최된 민주노총 제82차 대의원대회에서 회계공시 거부 관련 투표가 진행된 가운데 재적 935인 중 394인이 찬성표를 던져 과반(468표) 미달로 부결됐다.

2023년 10월부터 실시된 노동조합 회계공시 제도에 따라 노동조합은 정부 인터넷 사이트에 노조 회계 정보를 자율적으로 공시하되, 공시하지 않을 경우 연말정산 과정에서 세액공제 15%의 혜택을 받을 수 없다.

상급노조인 민주노총이 회계공시를 거부할 경우, 산별노조 전체가 조합원의 의사와 관계없이 세액공제 혜택을 받을 수 없게 된다.

회계공시 거부 안건은 지난해 민주노총의 제80차 임시대의원대회에서도 재적 대의원 1천 2인 중 493인 찬성으로 9명의 표차로 과반에 미치지 못하며 부결된 바 있다. 올해 역시 ‘회계공시 제도는 노조 탄압 목적’이라며 거부 의결을 계획했으나, 지난 표결보다도 더욱 큰 표차로 부결된 것이다.

선량한 조합원들의 권리를 위해 노동조합의 회계는 공시되어야 한다는 뜻을 지속적으로 밝혀온 우재준 의원은 “120만 명의 조합원이 납부한 조합비를 사용하는 만큼 회계공시 역시 투명하게 이뤄져야 한다”며 “민주노총 대의원분들의 의사결정에 깊은 감사를 드린다”고 밝혔다.

또한, “노동조합의 자율성은 회계공시 거부가 아닌 별도의 노력으로 충분히 달성할 수 있다”며, “앞으로도 민주노총의 투명한 회계공시와 건강한 노동조합 활동을 응원하겠다”고 강조했다.
