【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시는 오는 2월 15일 안동문화예술의전당 안동볼링장에서 경상북도 볼링 동호인들의 축제 ‘제14회 안동하회탈컵 OPEN 볼링대회’가 개최된다고 13일 밝혔다.

안동시체육회가 주최하고 안동시볼링협회가 주관하는 이번 대회는 2월부터 격월로 10월까지 열리는 월 챔프전과 12월에 열리는 연말 챔프전으로진행된다.

2025년 경북볼링협회에 등록된 개인 선수들과 단체가 출전하며 개인전, 단체전 4게임 합산으로 1~4위를 선발하고, 이후 순위별로 경기를 펼쳐 최종우승자를 가린다.

대회 기간 선수와 관계자 등 총 3,000여 명이 안동을 방문해, 관내 숙박업소 및 식당 등을 이용함으로써 지역경제 활성화에도 큰 도움이 될 것으로기대한다.

안동시 관계자는 “이번 대회를 통해 동호인들 간의 팀워크와 상호 친선을 다지고, 개인의 갈고닦은 기량을 한껏 발휘해 좋은 성적을 거두시길바란다”며, “최선을 다하는 선수들을 현장 또는 TV 중계를 통해 많이 응원해 주시길 바란다”고 전했다.

TV 중계는 3월부터 매월 둘째 주 일요일 오후 2시에 안동 MBC를 통해 녹화중계로 방송될 예정이다.
