【브레이크뉴스 】이성현 기자=대구광역시는 2025년 아랍에미리트 두바이 치과기자재 전시회에 2월 4일부터 6일까지 3일간 운영된‘대구시 해외전시회 공동관’을 통해 총 244건, 2,131만 달러 규모의 수출 상담 실적과 544만 달러(88억 원)의 현지 계약을 체결했다고 13일 밝혔다.

대구시가 지원한 이번 전시회에는 △㈜가넷덴텍, △㈜나노레이, △㈜리뉴메디칼, △㈜예스바이오테크, △㈜이프로스, △코리덴트, △㈜프라임덴탈, △㈜하이니스 등 지역 치과의료기기 관련 기업 8개사가 참여했다.

아랍에미리트 두바이 치과기자재전시회(AEEDC Dubai)는 지난 1996년부터 매년 두바이에서 개최되는 중동 최대규모이자 세계에서 두 번째로 큰 치과의료기기 전시회이다.

매년 신규 홀을 추가하고 새로운 전시 포맷을 선보이는 등 확장과 진화를 거듭해 중동, 아프리카, 서남아시아 지역을 뛰어넘어 전 세계 치과산업의 대표적인 전시회로 자리매김하고 있다.

이번 ‘AEEDC Dubai 2025’는 연면적 70,927sqm로(전년도의 59,074sqm 규모의 약 20% 증가) 60여 개 국가에서 3,924개 기업이 참가했고, 전시회 기간 중 177개국 85,000여 명 이상 참관객이 방문했다.

국내에서는 대구공동관 8개사를 포함해 163개사가 참가해 중동, 아프리카 및 유럽 치과의료기기 시장 공략을 위한 다양한 활동을 벌였다.

참가기업 중 하나인 ㈜예스바이오테크는 임플란트 관련 제품을 전문으로 생산하는 기업으로 지속적인 전시회 참가를 통해 해외 바이어들에게 우수한 기술력을 지녔다는 평가를 받으며 이란, 파키스탄, 이라크 등의 기업들과 총 351만 달러의 계약을 추진했다.

올해 처음 참여한 ㈜가넷덴텍은 치과 교정용 브라켓을 생산하는 기업으로 중국 제품을 사용하는 아랍에미리트 기업으로부터 자사제품으로 교체 요청을 받아 5만 달러 규모의 계약을 추진하는 등 중동 및 아프리카 치과 시장의 심미 치과에 대한 수요를 공략해 해당 국가 바이어들의 관심을 이끌어냈다.

한편 ㈜나노레이는 치과 포터블 엑스레이 장비를 생산하는 기업으로 인도시장 진출을 위한 테스트 마케팅을 위해 10만 달러 규모의 장비 계약을 추진하고, 사우디아라비아, 파키스탄, 이란 바이어와 OEM을 논의하는 등 42만 달러의 계약 성과를 올렸다.

㈜리뉴메디칼은 독일기업과 골이식재 OEM 추진과 튀니지, 쿠웨이트, 아르메니아 등 국가와 골이식재 품목에 대한 독점 딜러십 추진을 논의했다.

이외에도 참가기업들은 활발한 상담을 통해 크고 작은 계약 체결과 함께, 글로벌 바이어들로부터 우수한 기술력에 대한 긍정적인 평가를 받는 등 향후 수출시장 다변화를 위한 전망을 밝게 했다.
