19일 시에 따르면 이번 교육은 관내·외 우수 농장 및 유통 현장 견학 등 이론보다는 현장에 중점을 둔 교육 일정으로 구성해, 수강자들이 복숭아 농장 운영에 필요한 기술을 현장에서 습득할 수 있도록 진행된다.

교육은 3월부터 9월까지 매주 1회씩 총 20회, 87시간 동안 영천시농업기술센터와 농업 현장에서 진행될 예정이다.

수강 희망자는 28일까지 영천시농업기술센터 1층 농촌지도과로 방문해 신청할 수 있으며, 주민등록상 주소가 영천시로 되어 있는 복숭아 재배 농업인이 교육 대상이다.
