이 사업은 주민참여예산을 통해 제안돼 올해 처음으로 시행되는 사업으로, 대구시 거주(예정) 청년을 신규 고용하는 중소기업 및 소상공인에게 인건비 지원과 인센티브를 제공한다.

기업당 1명의 청년을 고용하면, 8개월간 월 50만 원의 인건비를 지원하며, 8개월을 근속한 청년에게는 80만 원의 인센티브를 제공한다. 지원되는 신규 고용의 기준은 2025년 1월 1일 이후 채용된 청년이다.

이번 사업의 지원 규모는 20개사로, 참여를 원하는 기업은 **2월 24일(월)**부터 **3월 14일(금)**까지 대구광역시청년센터 홈페이지(www.dgyouth.kr)에서 공고문을 확인하고, 신청서 및 중소기업 확인서 등 관련 서류를 이메일로 제출하여 신청할 수 있다.

신청 후, 대구시는 기업의 역량, 안정성, 근무환경, 성장 가능성 등을 종합적으로 평가하여 3월 중 최종 참여 기업을 선정할 예정이다.
