24일 경산시는 진량읍에 위치한 중림약국과 상록수약국이 신규 지정하고 기존 3곳이었던 공공심야약국을 5곳으로 확대 운영한다고 밝혔다.

경산시는 심야 시간대 의료 공백을 해소하고 시민들이 편리하게 의약품을 구입할 수 있도록 2022년부터 공공심야약국을 운영해 왔다.

기존에는 자인면 복광당약국, 옥산동 조아약국, 정평동 으뜸약국 3곳에서 매일 밤 10시부터 다음 날 새벽 1시까지 운영됐다.

시는 지난 1월 31일부터 2월 14일까지 ‘공공심야약국 추가 공모’를 진행해 중림 약국과 상록수 약국을 공공심야약국으로 신규 지정했다.

조현일 시장은 “야간에도 시민들이 의약품을 불편 없이 구매하고 상담받을 수 있도록 공공심야약국의 안정적인 운영을 위해 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

From January 31 to February 14, the city held an ‘Additional Public Late-Night Pharmacy Competition’ and newly designated Junglim Pharmacy and Sangnoksu Pharmacy as public late-night pharmacies.

Mayor Cho Hyun-il said, “We will spare no support to ensure the stable operation of public late-night pharmacies so that citizens can conveniently purchase medicines and receive consultations even at night.”
