【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=DGB금융그룹 DGB사회공헌재단(이사장 황병우)은 25일 화성특례시소상공인연합회(회장 신인철) 및 굿네이버스 경기남부사업본부(본부장 전재규)와 함께 ‘화성특례시 소상공인 자녀 장학금 지원을 위한 업무협약’을 체결하고 후원금을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 화성특례시 소상공인 자녀들에게 장학금을 지원하여 교육 기회를 확대하고 인재를 육성하는 것을 목표로 하며, 소상공인 가정의 경제적 부담을 덜어주는 데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

DGB사회공헌재단은 2,200만 원의 장학금을 지원하며, 화성특례시소상공인연합회는 지원 대상자를 모집하고 추천하며, 굿네이버스 경기남부사업본부는 선발하여 장학금을 지급할 예정이다.

황병우 DGB사회공헌재단 이사장은 “이번 장학금 지원이 어려운 상황에 처한 소상공인 가정에 조금이라도 도움이 되기를 바란다”며, “DGB는 앞으로도 소상공인과의 상생을 위해 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 계속해서 펼칠 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한편, DGB금융그룹은 지난해 12월 iM뱅크의 시중은행 전환에 따라 화성특례시 동탄대로에 동탄금융센터를 개점하며, 기존의 iM뱅크 화성금융센터(시청로)와 함께 두 곳의 금융센터를 운영하고 있다.
