【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구가 초·중·고 57개교에 지원하는 교육경비보조금을 최종 확정했다고 26일 밝혔다. 

동구청은 총 12개 사업에 15억 원을 투입키로 결정했다. 이는 지난해보다 5000만원이 늘어난 규모다.

이번 교육경비 지원사업은 지역 우수 인재 양성을 위한 교육경쟁력 강화에 초점을 맞췄다. 이를 위해 글로벌 역량 강화를 위한 영어특화 사업, 학력 신장 분야, 일반고 대상 석식비 지원 등에 집중 지원한다.

교육의 다양성과 질적 향상을 위해 4차 산업 관련 프로그램과 다양한 예·체능 활동 지원을 지원한다.

또한 중학생에게는 강남 인강, 고등학생에게는 자율선택 인터넷 강의 수강료 지원으로 온라인 학습 지원도 강화한다. 

초등학생의 통학 안전을 위해 교통안전지도사가 동행하는 워킹 스쿨버스 사업을 새롭게 도입한다.

이외에도 영어체험학습, 원어민 화상영어지원, 우수 인재 장학 제도, 진로·진학 지원 등 다양한 교육 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
