4일 대구시에 따르면 대구청정넷은 대구의 미래를 이끌어갈 청년들이 모여, 청년들이 가진 고민과 문제를 해결하기 위한 의제를 발굴하고 청년정책 제안·모니터링 및 다양한 교류 활동을 하는 대구의 대표적인 정책참여기구이다.

올해 제7기 대구청정넷은 슬로건을 청년들 사이에서 유행하는 칠가이＊ 밈(Chill guy meme)을 활용한 ‘칠전 7기, 정책에 미chill다’로 선정하고, 정책 탐구 및 교류활동을 활발히 펼쳐 나갈 예정이다. *칠가이(Chill guy)는 언제나 느긋하고 긍정적인 자세를 가진 강아지 캐릭터로, 최근 청년들 사이에서 인기를 얻고 있다.

신청 자격은 대구에 거주, 재학, 활동하거나 일하는 19세에서 39세의 청년이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있다. 참여자는 ‘청년정책학교’라는 교육과정을 통해 정책에 대한 이해도를 높인 후, 이수자에 한해 대구청정넷 위원으로 위촉된다.

신청 방법은 대구광역시 홈페이지, 대구청년커뮤니티포털 ‘젊프’(www.dgjump.com), 대구시청년센터(www.dgyouth.kr) 공고문에 포함된 구글링크를 통해 신청서를 제출하면 된다. 기타 문의 사항은 대구시청년센터 활동지원팀을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

대구청정넷은 지난해 ‘광역 청정넷 위원장 협의체’ 최초 구성을 주도하며, 기초 지자체까지 확대한 전국 교류회를 개최하고, 시-구·군 청정넷 교류회, 대구-광주 교류회 등을 통해 전국 청년활동리더 간의 교류 활성화에 큰 역할을 했다.

또한, 청년정책 관련 토론 및 워크숍을 통해 교육, 문화, 복지, 일자리, 주거, 참여·권리의 6개 분과별로 청년정책을 발굴하고 제안하는 활동을 활발히 진행했다.

박윤희 대구광역시 청년여성교육국장은 “학교나 직장 등에서 잠시 벗어나 대구 청년으로서 자신들의 아이디어가 정책으로 구현되는 과정에 참여할 수 있는 곳이 바로 대구청년정책네트워크”라며, “대구의 미래를 함께 만들어갈 청년들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

Anyone between the ages of 19 and 39 who lives, studies, works, or is working in Daegu can apply. Participants will increase their understanding of policies through the ‘Youth Policy School’ curriculum, and only those who complete the course will be appointed as members of the Daegu Youth Net.

Daegu Clean Network led the first formation of the ‘Wide Area Clean Network Chairperson Council’ last year, held a nationwide exchange meeting that expanded to basic local governments, and played a major role in activating exchanges among youth activity leaders nationwide through city-district-county Clean Network exchange meetings and Daegu-Gwangju exchange meetings.

In addition, through discussions and workshops related to youth policy, the network actively explored and proposed youth policies in six categories: education, culture, welfare, jobs, housing, and participation/rights.
