【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=계명-목요철학원(원장 이재성)은 대구 시민들을 위한 인문학 강좌인 ‘목요철학 인문포럼’을 2025년 상반기 동안 개최한다고 밝혔다.

포럼은 오는 3월 13일(목)부터 6월 5일(목)까지 매주 목요일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 수성구립 범어도서관 김만용·박수년홀에서 열린다.

이번 포럼의 주제는 “인류세 시대, 인문의 눈으로 문명을 진단하다”로, 현대 문명과 그 방향성을 철학적 관점에서 되짚어보는 시간을 제공한다. 지역민 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 신청은 수성구립 범어도서관 홈페이지나 행사 당일 현장에서 가능하다. 또한 현장 강연과 함께 유튜브 채널 목철TV를 통해 실시간 방송으로도 진행된다.

포럼의 첫 강연은 박한선 서울대 인류학과 교수의 “인류의 기원”을 주제로 열린다. 이후 매주 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 강연을 이어갈 예정으로, 주요 강연 내용은 다음과 같다:

계명-목요철학원은 지난 45년 동안 꾸준히 인문학 강좌를 운영하며, 대구의 문화적 위상을 높여왔다. 특히, 목요철학 인문포럼은 “우리 시대의 금자탑”이라 불리며, 매년 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 참여해 강연을 이어가고 있다.

목요철학 인문포럼은 1980년 계명대 철학과에서 시작된 ‘목요철학세미나’로, 2011년 계명대 부속기관으로 출범하며 외연을 확장하였다. 현재는 목요철학 인문포럼, 목요철학 콜로키움, 청소년을 위한 철학인문교실 등으로 나누어 인문교육을 진행하고 있다.

Gyeomyeong-Mokyo Philosophy Institute to hold 'Mokyo Philosophy Humanities Forum' in the first half of 2025

Gyeomyeong-Mokyo Philosophy Institute (Director Lee Jae-seong) announced that it will hold 'Mokyo Philosophy Humanities Forum', a humanities lecture for Daegu citizens, in the first half of 2025.

The forum will be held every Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM from March 13 (Thursday) to June 5 (Thursday) at the Kim Man-yong and Park Su-nyeon Hall of the Suseong-gu Beomeo Library.

The theme of this forum is "Diagnosing Civilization through the Eyes of Humanities in the Anthropocene Era," providing time to look back on modern civilization and its direction from a philosophical perspective. Anyone in the region can participate, and applications can be made on the Suseong-gu Beomeo Library website or on-site on the day of the event.
