‘직업교육 혁신지구’ 사업은 직업계 고등학교, 지역 기업, 대학이 협력하여 고졸 인재의 성장 경로를 구축하고, 지역 산업 수요에 맞춘 인재를 양성하는 것을 목표로 한다. 포항시는 이번 선정으로 지역 전략산업인 이차전지 특화 직업교육을 강화하는 중요한 계기를 맞았다.
