【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시는 지역 경제 활성화를 위해 3월부터 다양한 관광객 유입을 촉진하고자 '단체관광객 인센티브 지원사업', '전담여행사 지원사업', '외국인 관광객 인센티브 지원사업'을 본격적으로 추진한다.

단체관광객 인센티브 지원사업은 관광진흥법에 따라 등록된 여행사가 관외 거주 관광객을 20명 이상 모집해 문경시 지정 유료 관광지 2곳 이상과 관내 음식점 1곳 이상을 방문하는 경우, 투어버스 1대당 30만원을 지원하는 사업이다. 지원을 희망하는 여행사는 문경관광공사에 여행 7일 전 신청 후, 투어 종료 후 관련 증빙서류를 제출하면 지원을 받을 수 있다.

전담여행사 지원사업에서는 전국 여행사를 대상으로 공모·심사를 통해 4개 여행사(굿모닝여행사, 동백여행사, 여행스케치여행사, 화은국제여행사)를 지정했다. 이들 여행사와 협력하여 지역 축제와 관광지를 연계한 다양한 관광 패키지를 발굴하고, 국내외 관광객 유치에 집중할 계획이다.

외국인 관광객 인센티브 지원사업은 K-드라마의 인기를 기반으로 해외 여행객들의 관심이 높아진 문경을 대상으로, 경주 APEC 정상회의와 경북 방문의 해를 맞아 별도로 추진된다. 

이를 통해 글로벌 온라인 플랫폼에 경북 관광상품을 등록하면 건당 50만원이 지원되며, 전세기 50명 이상 모객 시, 탑승 인원에 따라 1편당 500만원에서 700만원을 지원한다. 또한 단체 관광객 규모는 8명에서 4명으로 완화하고, 당일형 관광 시에는 인당 1만원을 여행사에 지원한다.

문경시는 여행사 인센티브 지원뿐만 아니라 다양한 신규 관광콘텐츠 개발도 진행 중이며, 이를 통해 관광도시 이미지 제고를 위한 노력을 계속해 나갈 예정이다.

The Dedicated Travel Agency Support Project designated four travel agencies (Good Morning Travel Agency, Dongbaek Travel Agency, Travel Sketch Travel Agency, and Hwaeun International Travel Agency) through a public contest and evaluation of travel agencies nationwide. We plan to collaborate with these travel agencies to discover various tourism packages that link local festivals and tourist attractions, and focus on attracting domestic and international tourists.

The foreign tourist incentive support project is being carried out separately for Mungyeong, which has become increasingly popular among overseas travelers due to the popularity of K-dramas, in line with the Gyeongju APEC Summit and the Year of Visiting Gyeongbuk.

Through this, 500,000 won will be provided per case when a Gyeongbuk tourism product is registered on a global online platform, and 5 to 7 million won will be provided per flight depending on the number of passengers when more than 50 people are recruited for a charter flight. In addition, the size of group tourists will be relaxed from 8 to 4, and 10,000 won per person will be provided to travel agencies for same-day tours.

In addition to providing incentives to travel agencies, Mungyeong City is also developing various new tourism content, and will continue its efforts to enhance the image of the city as a tourist destination.
