【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시는 3월 12일 시청 대회의실에서 '2025 신성장 동력 TF팀 추진전략 보고회'를 개최하여 미래 성장 동력을 확보하기 위한 핵심 과제 추진 상황을 점검했다.

이 보고회는 문경시 정책기획단이 2022년 9월 신설 이후 매월 2회 진행되고 있으며, 기존의 서류 보고 형식을 벗어나 전략과제별 추진 현황과 계획을 구두로 보고하고 토의하는 자유로운 형식으로 운영되고 있다. 이를 통해 창의적이고 혁신적인 아이디어를 도출하고 다양한 의견을 나누며 변화와 혁신을 이끌어내고 있다.

이번 보고회에서는 문경새재 케이블카, 주흘산 하늘길 조성, 문경새재 관광지 개발사업 등 총 29개 핵심 과제를 집중적으로 점검했다. 문경시는 각 부서 간 전략과제 진행 상황을 공유하고 협업하여 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 특히 새로운 관광 콘텐츠를 발굴해 지역 소비를 촉진하는 ‘체류형 관광산업’을 구축할 계획이다.

또한, 문경시는 2031 세계군인체육대회 유치를 목표로 국군체육부대의 인프라와 다양한 국제대회 개최 경험을 바탕으로 글로벌 스포츠·체육 도시로 도약할 예정이다.

더불어 신성장동력 TF팀은 분기별로 국내의 다양한 현장 견학을 통해 참신한 아이디어를 발굴하고, 이를 문경시 행정에 접목할 계획이다.

신현국 문경시장은 “2025년 신성장 동력 확보를 위해 모든 역량을 집중할 것”이라며, “지난해의 성과를 바탕으로 끊임없는 도전과 혁신을 통해 더 큰 미래를 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
