【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시는 미취업 청년들의 구직 의욕을 높이고, 자신감을 회복시키며 취업 역량을 강화하여 구직 단념을 예방하는 ‘청년성장프로젝트 청년카페’를 확대 추진한다고 밝혔다.

‘청년성장프로젝트’는 고용노동부가 2024년부터 추진하고 있는 사업으로, 2024년 성과평가 결과 대구시는 청년카페 운영 부문에서 최우수기관으로 선정되었다. 대구시는 ‘청년카페(취트키)’를 통해 마음돌봄과 진로설계 등 다양한 교육 프로그램을 진행했으며, 또래 및 현직자와의 멘토링, 지역 청년과 고용정책 연계, 현장 교육 등을 통해 성과를 높였다.

2025년에는 사업비가 22억 원 증액되어 총 25억 원(국비 20억 원, 시비 5억 원)의 예산을 확보, 지원 대상을 600명에서 5,600명으로 대폭 확대하여 사업을 추진할 계획이다.

‘청년카페(취트키)’ 프로그램은 15세에서 39세까지의 지역 청년들에게 개별 맞춤형 지원을 제공하며, 이수자에게는 일 경험 연계와 지역 청년 및 고용정책 연계 프로그램을 지원한다. 또한 기존의 미취업 청년뿐만 아니라 특성화고, 대학생, 취약 청년(사회적 고립자) 등 다양한 청년층을 지원 대상으로 확대한다.

대구시는 대구테크노파크, 대구청년센터, 대구경북첨단벤처기업연합회와 협력하여 청년 거버넌스 구축, 맞춤형 교육프로그램, 사후 지원 등을 준비하고 있다. 이를 통해 3월부터 10월까지 5,600여 명의 참여자를 모집하고, 구직 단념을 예방하기 위한 지원사업을 실시할 예정이다.

2025년 청년카페(취트키)는 맞춤형 프로그램으로 운영되며, 대상별로 프로그램 일정과 장소가 달라지므로 참여를 원하는 청년은 ‘대구취트키.kr’에서 본인이 원하는 프로그램과 장소를 선택해 신청하면 된다.
