‘사랑의 집수리’ 사업은 대구시가 주관하며, 도배, 장판, 싱크대 교체, 보일러 수리 등 주거 필수시설과 지붕·처마 수리, 대량 쓰레기 정리 등을 포함한다. 2012년 ‘동고동락 집수리’ 사업으로 시작되어, 지난해까지 총 2,300호 이상의 노후 주택을 개선했다.

올해는 대구도시개발공사, 신세계건설, 금복복지재단, 대성에너지 등 민간 기업들이 후원하며, 화성산업이 직접 시공에 참여하여 40호의 저소득층 노후 주택을 수리할 예정이다.

집수리 희망 가구는 4월 초까지 관할 행정복지센터에 신청하면 되며, 이후 심사를 통해 최종 대상 가구를 선정한 뒤 6월부터 집수리 사업이 시작된다. 현금후원이나 직접 수리 참여를 희망하는 개인, 기업, 단체는 대구시 주택과 또는 대구사회복지공동모금회를 통해 연중 문의할 수 있다.

집수리 사업에 참여한 달서구 거주 A씨는 “낡고 열악한 집에서 우울했던 마음이 풀리고, 집이 깨끗해지니 기분이 좋아졌다”며 감사의 마음을 전했다.

허주영 대구광역시 도시주택국장은 “어려운 경제상황 속에서도 변함없는 관심을 가져준 기업들에 감사하며, 앞으로도 따뜻한 대구를 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
