【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=방촌동 자율방범대가 동촌지구대, 공군 제11전투비행단과 함께 합동 순찰을 진행했다.

지난해 10월부터 이어져 온 순찰은 지역 주민들의 불안감을 해소하고, 민‧관‧군 협력을 통해 지역사회 안전에 대한 공감대를 확보하기 위해 추진됐다. 

순찰은 매주 수요일 저녁 9시부터 11시까지 진행되며 약 30명이 참여한다.

이들은 주로 상가 밀집지역, 근린공원, 놀이터, 택지지구 등 범죄의 우려가 있는 곳을 도보로 순찰하면서 청소년 선도, 주취자 귀가, 현행범 검거, 범죄예방·신고 등의 방범활동을 펼치고 있다.

순찰에 참여한 자율방범대원은 “지역 주민의 안전을 위해 활동할 수 있어 보람을 느낀다”며 “앞으로 시민들이 안심하고 생활할 수 있도록 방범 활동에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The Bangchon-dong Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps conducted a joint patrol with the Dongchon District Police Station and the Air Force 11th Fighter Squadron.
