또한 홍준표 대구시장이 ‘이재명처럼 온갖 비리로 기소돼도 대통령 되겠다고 저리 뻔뻔스럽게 설치고 다니는데 오세훈 시장 사건이야 그에 비하면 조족지혈’이라고 발언한 것을 두고 “검사 출신이라면 입에 담아서는 안 될 말”이라고 지적했다.

그러면서 홍 시장을 향해 “초조하고 불안한 마음이야 충분히 알겠으나 경거망동하지 말기를 충고한다”며 “철저히 진상을 파악하여 그 죄에 맞는 벌을 반드시 받게 될 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
