【브레이크뉴스 의성】진예솔 기자=한덕수 대통령 권한대행이 직무 복귀 첫날 경북 의성 산불 피해 현장을 방문했다.

24일 오후 4시 20분께 의성산불 현장통합지휘본부가 설치된 안평면사무소를 방문한 한덕수 권한대행은 산불 진화 및 대응 상황을 보고 받았다.

한 권한대행은 “강풍과 연기 속에서 혼신의 힘을 다해 화마와 사투를 벌여온 산불 특수진화대, 소방관, 지자체 공무원, 군경, 자원봉사자 등 모든 분께 감사드린다”며 “정부와 행정기관들, 경찰까지 다 힘을 합쳐서 최대한 빨리 진화가 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

아울러 “산불진화 만큼이나 중요한 것이 그 과정에서 화재 진화 인력들의 피해가 더 이상 발생하지 않는 것”이라며 “안전조치에 만전을 기해달라”고 덧붙여 말했다.

또한 의성체육관을 방문해 이재민들을 위로하기도 했다. 한 권한대행은 "유가족과 피해자 지원, 이재민의 일상 회복에도 한치의 소홀함이 없도록 세심하게 살피고 임시주거, 급식, 생필품 등 지원에 있어 부족함이나 불편함이 없도록 해 달라"고 요청했다.

이와 함께 "주거비 등 직접 지원과 함께 세제·금융 지원 등 제도적으로 가능한 모든 수단을 주민들에게 상세히 안내해달라"고 강조했다.

이날 오후 3시 기준 의성 산불 진화율은 65％이며 전체 화선 148㎞ 중 진화 중인 화선은 52㎞, 완료는 96㎞며 산불영향구역은 7778㏊로 추정된다.

As of 3:00 PM on this day, the Uiseong wildfire's containment rate is 65%, and out of the total 148 km of fire lines, 52 km are under containment, 96 km are complete, and the wildfire-affected area is estimated at 7,778 ha.
