【브레이크뉴스 의성】진예솔 기자=경북교육청이 의성 산불 피해 최소화를 위해 적극 지원에 나섰다.

도 교육청은 25일과 26일 이틀간 40명씩 총 80여 명의 본청 직원을 산불 현장에 투입한다고 밝혔다.

이들은 진화 작업을 돕고, 이재민 지원을 위한 봉사활동을 전개할 계획이다.

교육청은 의성학생체육관, 학교 강당 등을 이재민 임시대피시설로 개방했다. 또한 폐교인 (구)안평중 부지를 소방 차량 집결지로 제공하는 등 지역주민 안전 확보에 적극 협조하고 있다.

임종식 교육감은 “산불로 인해 큰 피해를 본 주민분들께 깊은 위로의 말씀을 전한다”며 “경북교육청은 산불 피해가 조속히 복구될 수 있도록 가능한 모든 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
