브레이크뉴스 노보림 기자= 경남과 경북 지역에 발생한 산불로 26일까지 18명이 사망하고 19명이 부상을 입었다. 주택, 공장, 사찰 등 건물 209곳이 불에 탔으며 2만7000여명의 이재민이 발생했다.

26일 행정안전부 중앙재난안전대책본부에 따르면 이날 오전 5시 기준 산불로 인한 사망자는 잠정 18명이다. 지역별로 보면, 경북에서 14명, 경남에서 4명 발생했다. 산불로 6명이 중상을, 13명이 경상을 입었다.

주택, 공장, 창고, 사찰, 차량, 문화재 등 209곳이 불에 타는 등 건물 피해도 막대한 규모로 발생했다. 의성이 145곳으로 가장 피해가 컸고, 산청은 64곳이 소실된 것으로 조사됐다. 울산 울주군 온양·언양은 현재 피해 규모조차 집계되지 않고 있다.

산불로 대피 중인 주민은 2만7079명으로, 이 중 2만6006명이 귀가하지 못하고 있다.

대피 인원은 의성·안동이 2만313명으로 가장 많고, 울주 언양 4628명, 산청·하동 1773명, 울주 온양 365명 순이다. 고창과 정읍 주민 35명도 대피 중이다.

중·대형 산불은 현재 산청·하동, 의성·안동, 울주 온양·언양 총 6개 지역에서 발생 중이다.

산청, 하동, 의성, 울주 1만7398㏊에서는 아직 산불이 진행 중이다.

진화를 완료한 곳은 충북 옥천 39.6㏊, 경남 김해 97㏊ 총 136.6㏊에 불과하다.

예상 산불 피해 면적인 산불영향구역은 1만7534㏊로, 전날 오전 9시(1만4693.6㏊) 대비 약 19.3% 확대됐다. 이는 여의도의 약 60.5배에 달하는 면적이다.

진화율로 보면, 산청·하동 80%, 의성·안동 68%, 울주 온양 92%, 울주 언양 98%를 기록 중이다.

정부는 헬기 128대, 인력 1만117명을 투입해 진화 작업을 계속해나가고 있다.
